Abstract

Novel sensor nodes for the Tactile Internet present enormous challenges for circuit design, packaging, and the operating system. Sensors from basic infrastructure for research in the Tactile Internet, a highly dynamic field of interdisciplinary research. This research has been successful only because its interdisciplinary nature has been accepted and embraced. We describe how novel sensor nodes for the Tactile Internet have been created in close collaboration with interdisciplinary research groups.
