Abstract

The research project Lehrraum_digital [Lecture Room_digital] conducted at the TU Dresden examines digitized teaching and learning environments in vocational education. This paper introduces the environmental teaching and learning concept developed within the project, discusses the need for environmental concepts that address digital and physical spaces in an integrated manner, and presents the results of expert interviews, which were conducted throughout the research project. The research methodology is based upon a five-step approach and integrates both data collection and data processing. The interviews were carried out in a qualitative methodological approach, which took into account a variety of different artefacts collected.
