Research interests

Steffen Kampmann completed his studies in materials science at TU Dresden in April 2019. During his studies, he worked as student assistant at the Institute of Materials Science (IfWW) and the Institute for Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden. He completed his internship in the research department of Daimler AG at research centre in Ulm. In his diploma thesis he was working on the micromechanical fatigue behavior of steel at the research center of Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen. In November 2019, he moved to the chair of Prof. G. Cuniberti and has since been working on multi-scale simulation methods of materials in the group of Dr. Croy and Dr. Gutierrez.
