Abstract
The method involves positioning the fiber composite components (4,6) involved in the connection and a functional element (2) in its initial position. The stick-shaped functional elements are warmed or heated before establishing the connection of the two fiber composite components in their initial position by an adjusted heater (3). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for connecting thermoplastic fiber composite components by stick-shaped functional elements; and (2) a functional element with a sensor.
