Research interests

In my field of work on national and subnational forest and environmental policy, my focus is on policy governance in multi-level systems and networks, informal instruments of forest policy, and diversification of forest landscapes and their social values. I also have a particular research interest in environmental and science communication and forestry education. To this end, I have specialized primarily in the application of various social empirical methods. For research communication and the support of various networks, I also perform graphic and web design in addition to writing texts. 
 
My tasks at the Chair of Forest Policy and Forest Resource Economics include conceptual and technical work on scientific projects and their applications, as well as target group-specific communication and dissemination of research results through various communication channels. Small teaching assignments as well as the supervision of students, e.g. in student research projects and theses, are also part of my tasks.
