Abstract
The obstacle sheltering effect from driving rain on building facades is researched in this paper. The street canyon arrangement style and the frontal packing density are two new parameters added into consideration. Several simulation cases of driving rain fall on two different array layouts, at different frontal packing density are reported. Results including wind field, raindrop trajectory and rain intensity are analyzed successively.
