Abstract

The cell has a rechargeable electrode assembly supplying temporary electrical energy to a load and comprising two electrodes with different polarities. A current conducting device is electrically or firmly connected with an electrode of an electrode assembly. A cell housing is provided with a housing portion (6) and partially surrounds the electrode assembly. The housing portion comprises a function device (8), which supports discharge of energy from the electrode assembly to a load. A support element (7) supports the function device. The function device is designed as a diffusion barrier. The support element is designed as a base. The electrode assembly is designed as a transducer component. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a transducer cell.
Translated title of the contribution
Transducer cell for use as electrochemical energy converter device for secondary battery to drive motor car, has function device supporting discharge of energy from electrode assembly to load, and support element supporting function device
