Abstract

The present paper addresses the success factors of the implementation of virtual reality in formal education. Based on two project-based case studies and a literature review, current research findings and practical experiences regarding the potentials and risks of VR implementation in the dimensions of didactics, organization, technology, economics and culture are identified, discussed and integrated into a multidimensional framework.
