Abstract
Device for fabricating X-ray reflecting images comprises an anode (4) made from a material emitting a characteristic X-ray beam. The anode is made from a flat or curved geometric body having a target surface of 1 microns to 0.25 mm and is fixed to a holder (5) made from plastic or fixed to a material made from another material permeable to X-rays. The anode is arranged between a sample (2) and a detector (6) which are arranged parallel to each other. Preferred Features: The body of the anode is a ball having a diameter of 1 microns to 0.5 mm, or is a cylinder or prism. The anode holder is electrically conducting.
