Abstract
Method for connecting hollow components has the following steps: bringing together of first and second components that are hollow at least in the joining region; positioning of a sleeve in the joint area of the components so that it extends over the abutment area of the ends of the components. The sleeve is made of a flexible textile material. An internal pressure is applied to the sleeve so that it deforms and is pressed against the inner side of the joint area after which the sleeve is hardened. The invention also relates to a corresponding component connection that is made using the inventive method.
