Abstract

Textile-reinforced composite material (1) comprises a reinforcing fiber (2) and a matrix material (3), where the reinforcing fiber comprises a fiber strand with many individual fibers. At least one fiber strand comprises at least one test fiber (4), where the density difference between the individual fibers of the fiber strand and the matrix material is less than the density difference between the test fiber and the matrix material. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a component comprising textile-reinforced composite material, which includes at least one test fiber; and (2) nondestructive testing of fiber orientation and layer construction of a component made of textile-reinforced composite material, comprising receiving at least a portion of the component by computer tomography, evaluating and selecting the radiographic density of the test fiber, spatially representing the position of test fiber, and determining the fiber orientation and layer construction by evaluating the spatial representation of the position of the test fiber.
