Abstract
The invention relates to a layer-shaped semifinished product, which has a layer sequence (3), which contains at least one layer of an unconsolidated reinforcing-fiber construction. Said layer sequence is arranged under vacuum between an upper film (2) and a lower film (1) made of thermoplastic matrix material, which are connected to each other peripherally in a pressure-retaining manner. Advantageous developments of the layer-shaped semifinished product according to the invention provide for preforming of the semifinished product and the introduction of metal inserts (31) or other components into the semifinished product. The invention further relates to a method for producing the layer-shaped semifinished product according to the invention.
