Abstract

This article focuses on the necessity of practical laboratories in the development of new study programs, particularly in the railway field, and emphasizes the significance of project-based learning and authentic laboratories. The integration of practical components is underscored as a means to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application. The AZubiG project, presented as an example of research cooperation, provides access to such authentic laboratories and facilitates the seamless transfer of knowledge into the creation of new Bachelor's and Master's programs. Specifically, this article explores the potential application of this approach in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
