Abstract

In a photoactive device with organic layers, especially solar cell, comprising a sequence of organic thin films and contact layers with a doped transport layer and a photoactive layer, arranged in a pi-, ni- or pin-diode structure, each of a p-, i- or n-layer, the transport layer has a larger optical band gap than the photoactive layer and the structure is partly transparent at least in part of the solar spectrum from 350 to 2000 nm.
