Abstract
This paper describes the development of a metadata platform that serves the exchange of UAV data between different stakeholders (research groups, institutional stakeholders and companies). The data por-tal is a public search platform with the goal of improving the value of UAV data and increasing the chances for their reuse. The metadata platform allows the provision of and search for UAV datasets independent of their licensing. Appropriate interfaces for data exchange and user-friendly search tools were designed accordingly. The focus was especially on easy searchability and operation without losing the technical depth. It is possible to reference and search both raw data and derived products. This paper describes the use of the platform and the underlying web-based application.
