Abstract
The object-oriented modelling language Modelica established for the modular modelling and simulation of heterogeneous systems. The design of complex optomechatronic systems such as adaptive and active optics however requires the description of the coupled optical and mechanical behaviour including closed-loop functionality. This article shows the integration of a diffractive optical functionality intoModelica in terms of a newmodel library.
