Abstract
The arrangement consists of isotropic and anisotropic materials with several passively braced individual layers arranged asymmetrically with respect to each other that adopt multistable deformation conditions in various stable equilibrium states when deformation energy is introduced. For introduction of deformation energy, at least one layer of a functional material that can be driven is inserted into a multilayer compound, which is changed to a different equilibrium state by driving the layer(s) and the introduction of energy is finished with the change.
Translated title of the contribution | Function multistable hybrid compound as force and displacement converter, has functional material that can be driven inserted into multilayer compound for introducing deformation energy |
