Abstract

This article presents the potential of reactive power provision and control in the context of Redispatch 2.0. An extensive field test shows the interaction of transmission and distribution system operators with regard to a reactive power control across several voltage levels. In addition to the design and development of all system components, the functionality of an active control of reactive power and its effect on the real grid area were evaluated.
