Abstract

The academic achievement of students is a top concern of educators and teachers given the evidence for its links to future career opportunities, especially in vocational education field. Therefore, the aim of this study was twofold. The first purpose was to identify the learning performance that reflects students’ assimilation of the electrical engineering content. The second purpose was to describe the construction of a reliable and valid academic achievement test designed to measure students’ learning performance. To achieve these goals, the researchers developed the academic achievement test in several phases by following the systematic approach.
