Research interests
I am a force spectroscopist. I am intersted in single molecule techniques and have expertise in Magnetic Tweezers and AFM. I am currently working on the mechanics of bacterial conjugation; although along my carrier I had been intersted in the mechanics of viral infection, protein folding and protein-DNA interactions. I wish to expand my knowledge towards a comprehensive understanding of single molecule protein folding not only from the experimental single molecule techniques of my lab but also from a bioinformatician perspective to entail the relation between energy landscapes and evolution.
