Dr.-Ing. Ana Maria Blanco Castaneda

Research interests

Ana Maria Blanco received her bachelor and master degree in electrical engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and her doctor degree from the Technische Universität Dresden. Currently she is a postdoc researcher at the Technische Universität Dresden. Her main research topic is harmonic emission and propagation in distribution and transmission systems, which includes the modeling and simulation of electric networks for harmonic studies, proper measurement methods of harmonic emissions, analysis of power quality data, and evaluation of harmonics compliance in power systems. Moreover, she has also worked in the development and implementation of different mathematical and probabilistic methods to analyze waveform disturbances in power systems.
