Abstract
The properties or the shapes of the materials which are to be broken up and which make the components suitable for carrying out the supporting or containing tasks, for which they were designed, are modified by exposing them to liquids or vapours. These can be water and steam at elevated temperatures. The materials used in the construction of the equipments to be broken up are e.g. fibre reinforced plastics, paper soaked in hardening material, foams or cellulose materials etc.
