Abstract

A process evaluates and visually presents the physical values associated with single or multi-component liquids using a sensitized polymer network (4) operated as a transducer. The change in mass or other mechanical properties is detected by the transducer and converted into an electrical signal. The change in mass or other mechanical property chosen, is either not influenced or is scarcely influenced by the measuring medium. The transducer makes use of the change in mechanical oscillation characteristics and/or the change in the natural frequency of the pre-excited detector.

Translated title of the contribution
Detecting changes in physical values associated with multi-component liquids involves using sensitized polymer network operated as transducer which detects change in mass or other mechanical properties and converts it into electrical signal
