Abstract
Due to flexible production and decreasing number of pieces in each production lot thermal behavior of machine tools has significant influence on the achievable quality of work pieces. Solutions for this issue are investigated and developed in SFB/Transregio 96. In the subproject C06 a new measurement method "Selective Thermography" is developed to improve on the analysis of thermal behavior of machines.
