Abstract
The design of highly efficient top-emitting OLEDs by optical modeling is described. The main loss channels of top-emitting OLEDs are quantified and red top-emitting OLEDs reaching 29% EQE are realized. White top-emitting OLEDs exhibiting a broad spectrum, high CRI and a luminous efficacy of up to 30 lm/W are presented.
