Abstract

This publication examines the development and application of carbon reinforced concrete as a highly loadbearing and corrosion-resistant building material. Emphasizing quality control in constructing carbon reinforced concrete components, especially regarding the positional stability of carbon reinforcement, standardized procedures are established under the RUBIN-ISC project. Special attention is dedicated to tolerances and precise reinforcement positioning in thin components, crucial for ensuring structural strength. The study introduces an innovative non-destructive testing method for accurately verifying reinforcement positions, underscoring the necessity for meticulous execution to maximize the benefits of carbon reinforced concrete.
