Abstract

Summary: This chapter familiarizes the reader with the programming environment of the Symbian C++ programming language. This should enable the reader to understand the examples given in the following chapters. After setting up the development environment, we will test the set-up by building a helloworld application and then run it using the emulator and mobile device.
