Abstract
Mastering production time spread, efficiency increase and sequence compliance simultaneously are key design features of an assembly system for customerspecific products in large series production. Their implementation makes an important contribution in the strategy of a premium automotive company. The contribution discusses interdependencies of selected variables in a meaningful search space and represents them in sensitivity graphs. This contribution focuses in a first stage onto a pure production flow system without manual shop floor workplaces.
