Abstract

Semi integral bridges are characterized by the monolithic connection between the superstructure and the piers. Thereby every element of the structure participate to the transfer of forces due to traffic loads. Simultaneously, high constraining forces due to thermal variation, creep, shrinkage or settlements appears.
