Abstract
Structural design of the building part BOX – Challenge from a planning perspective. This article presents the challenges of the structural design of the building part BOX from a planning point of view. The BOX construction as such, the materials used and the individual components, especially the ceilings and exterior walls, are discussed. The article provides more detailed information on the design procedure for building components, and deals with special aspects and decisive construction details. It shows that carbon concrete can be used to design and implement filigree, material-minimized building components, thus saving natural resources.
