Abstract
The TAP reactor, as a special pulse reactor, is a laboratory tool for elucidating adsorptive and diffusive behaviour of gases in porous networks, which significantly influence turnover and selectivity in heterogeneously catalyzed reactions. In addition, due to the high temporal resolution, statements about kinetic mechanistic details can be obtained and incorporated into a microkinetic modeling.
