Abstract
A new approach to the analysis of brain electrical activity in epilepsy is introduced. It is based on Cellular Neural Networks (CNN) with linear weight functions and nonpropagating templates. For a CNN with binary steady state outputs and binary inputs (Boolean CNN) the measured relative frequency of different CNN input patterns of brain electrical activity is discussed applying focal and non-focal electrodes.
