Abstract

Huge cylindrical steel hubs are simulatively examined with the method of finite differences in time domain (FDTD). Pitch-catch arrangements are used in these examinations. Two approaches to imaging are presented, one based on Clearbout's "Imaging Principle", and one based on gradient-based optimization.
