Abstract
The subject matter of the present invention relates to a RTM tool with an sealing arrangement. Said sealing arrangement comprises an elastic sealing cord (1), which is arranged in an undercut section in one of the at least two tool parts (21, 22) to be sealed. The invention is characterized in that, during closing of the tool parts, by the tool part pressing the sealing cord, said sealing cord is loaded essentially perpendicular with respect to the surface of the sealing cord and is deformed into the sealing gap (25), which is formed in the direction of the mold cavity. The sealing cord comes into contact with the molding compound without forming a cohesive material connection therewith.
