Abstract
This work presents an indoor localization system based on received signal strength indicator (RSSI) that is readily available in Bluetooth devices. Two algorithms are used for localization, namely proximity and weighted circular. Both algorithms are tested in an office room and a mean localization error of 1.76 m is measured. The proposed system shows its suitability for localization of medical assets in large medical facilities.
