Abstract
In the fields of allergology and dermatology, numerous registries have been established in recent years which, depending on the research question, can also be used for registry-based studies on healthcare intervention effects. In order to be able to conduct high-quality registry-based studies, methods and structures must be developed that promote collaboration between all those involved. The focus here is to strengthen the evidence base, thereby driving forward improvements in the quality of care and ultimately also strengthening the resilience of the healthcare system. This can be an important foundation for evidence-based healthcare in a learning healthcare system.
