Abstract

An image rejection complex band-pass filter based on g m -cells is presented and optimized for configurability and high linearity. The bandwidth can be tuned digitally to accommodate process variations and different transmission standards from 0.26MHz to 3.8MHz with a maximum tuning resolution of 50 kHz/LSB. The maximum IP 1dB is 1.2V pp . The proposed filter is suitable for the baseband section of radio receiver standards, for example digital audio broadcasting (DAB) and Bluetooth receivers. It is implemented in a 180-nm CMOS technology and occupies a total area of 1mm 2 .
