Abstract
The paper represents the fabrication and implementation of PVDF nanocomposites-based piezoelectric sensors. Piezoelectricity has emerged as a promising alternative to generating electricity from physical forces. There is a need to develop sensitive piezoelectric sensors using simple, facile techniques. Among a wide range of materials available to devise piezoelectric sensors, PVDF has been one of the most popular choices due to its excellent mechanical and piezoelectric nature. The integration of PEDOT: PSS and sponge as processed materials enhanced their responses to the tested force range. The results presented here provide a platform for the development of low-cost, non-invasive piezoelectric sensors for real-time applications.
