Abstract
This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To determine the diagnostic accuracy of physical tests, applied singly or in combination, for detecting anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears in people whose symptoms and/or history suggest ACL rupture. To assess the diagnostic accuracy of physical tests, applied singly or in combination, for detecting ACL tears in different study populations, in different clinical care settings, and different types of ACL rupture (partial, complete; immediate, acute, chronic; isolated ACL injury, ACL injury together with other knee injuries).
