Abstract

The invention relates to a photo-luminescence layer in the optical spectral region and in adjacent spectral regions on the basis of a solid solution of organic colours. The photo-luminescence layer consists of organic colour molecules having a low colour concentration and a matrix material that is made of metal oxides and is provided with a slightly understoichiometric oxygen content. The invention also relates to a method and a device for producing the photo-luminescence layer.
