Abstract
Studying the polarisation of weak bosons provides crucial insights into the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking. An implementation of polarised cross sections in Sherpa using the narrow-width approximation will be studied by comparing its results to the cross sections and distributions of selected kinematic variables obtained by PHANTOM using double-pole approximation. For this purpose, the W±Z inclusive production process is investigated with the help of the analysis tool Rivet. Results for different kinematic observables are discussed for all possible pol combinations with the polarisation defined in different reference frames.
