Abstract
The present invention relates to an organic photoactive component, in particular a solar cell or photodetector, which is made up of a plurality of layers, where at least one of the layers comprises at least one diindeno[1,2,3 -cd: 1', 2', 3'-lm]perylene compound of the general formula in Figure 1, where R1-R16 are identical or different and are selected independently from among hydrogen, halogen, unsubstituted or substituted, saturated or unsaturated C1-C20-alkyl, C1-C20-heteroaryl, C6-C20-aryl, C6-C20-heteroaryl, saturated or unsaturated carbocycles or heterocycles and two adjacent radicals R1-R16 can also be part of a further saturated or unsaturated, carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring which can comprise C, N, O, S, Si and Se, and also use of said component.
