Abstract
The invention relates to an organic component which vertically emits white light and comprises an electrode (1), a transparent counter-electrode (2) that is designed as a cover electrode, and an arrangement of organic layers (3) that are in contact with and are disposed between the electrode (1) and the counter-electrode (2) and are designed to emit light when a voltage is applied to the electrode (1) and the counter-electrode (2). A nanometer-thick coating (6) that has a layer thickness range D = d ±(0.2 x d), wherein d = 10.4n-75n + 150 and n is the optical refractive index, is applied to the counter-electrode (2) on a side facing away from the arrangement of organic layers (3).
