Said method comprises the steps: supplying the liquid (1) to the opening (13) of the hollow body such that the opening (13) is closed by the liquid (1); moving the liquid (1) through the opening (13) in the hollow body (10), an interior space (14) of the hollow body (10) being enclosed by the liquid (1); a working pressure is applied to the liquid (1) and the volume of the interior space (14) of the hollow body (10) is altered such that the liquid (1) rises to a predetermined level (15) above the opening (13).
