Concerning the problem of astronomical relativistic space-time reference frames suggestions for IAU-recommendations are given. New clock technology and space missions will necessitate the application of the framework for time and frequency measurements in the solar system. Practical recommendations are suggested to allow a consistent treatment of these measurements.
