Abstract
Stability of power distribution grids is a vital aspect for grid operators, even more as the amount of volatile, renewable energy sources in them is increasing. Within the STABEEL project, the authors seek to develop better rules on how to parametrise the reactive power control of various sources within a distribution grid to increase the performance while guaranteeing stability. To reach this goal, this contribution continues the development of a time-domain based modelling approach to generate state-space models for the following stability analysis. Within this paper – after some fundamental concepts are given – models for static and dynamic power loads, as well as reactive power controlled generators are derived. Afterwards they are evaluated by simulating a benchmark model.
