Abstract
Herein, a finite strain microscale model for magnetorheological elastomers with magnetically hard fillers is presented. Therein, the magnetic hysteresis of the particles are described by a phenomenological, thermodynamically consistent hysteresis model. To connect the microscopic fields to effective macroscopic quantities, a computational homogenization scheme is applied. Using the presented framework, the effective macroscopic magnetic as well as mechanical hystereses are calculated.
