Moreover, they also provide other functions such as factory automation, Global Position System (GPS) and location-based services, banking, order-tracking, and ticket purchases in business field, such like in Logistics industry. Modern logistics industry developed comprehensive supply chain management and used some advanced technology and device. This thesis mainly introduce development of logistics industry; some information of mobile apps such like the mobile operating system (OS) and application platforms, growing trend of Smartphone market and mobile apps marketplace. It also discusses the relationship between mobile apps and logistics industry and the functions of mobile apps in logistics industry and list several application examples of them.
