Abstract

We report on a comparative study of the low-temperature magnetoresistance ρxx ( B ) and Hall resistance ρxy ( B ) of CeCu6 - x Aux for 0 {less-than or slanted equal to} x {less-than or slanted equal to} 0.2 with magnetic field B along the easy direction. The data are discussed in terms of the metamagnetic transition manifest in ρxx ( B ), and of the anomalous Hall effect and bandstructure effects of the heavy-quasiparticle bands affecting ρxy ( B ).
