Abstract

The invention relates to a light-emitting device having a layered structure which comprises an arrangement of organic layers (2), in particular an organic light-emitting diode, there being provided a diffracting arrangement with one or more holographic layers (1) which converse light from internal, non-emitting modes to external, emitting modes.
